Healthy Contracts Advocate
Enrollment for IMHPA Healthy Contracts Advocates ends March 31, 2025.
Focused on the requirements to achieve Healthy Value-Based Contracts for Mental and Behavioral Health Services in Oregon, this level of IMHPA participation is offered to those who signed the Healthy Contracts Petition, those who registered for an event held 8/23/24, and mental health professionals who want information about issues related to inadequate preparation for Value Based Contracting by the State of Oregon.
Focus & Benefits:
Clinical, Ethical, and Legal Advocacy: Healthy Contracts Advocates are recruited to enhance their own understanding of the coming transition to value-based reimbursement models, they support the moral requirement that mental health practices adhere to ethical and lawful standards.
Access to IMHPA Listserv: Healthy Contracts Advocates may engage in discussions with IMHPA colleagues to share knowledge, resources, and best practices. Advocates will receive routine reports of IMHPA & MRI training and activities, and opportunities to stay up-to-date on practice, legislative and contracting issues.
Support for Consultation Group Formation: Assistance in creating or joining peer consultation groups to enhance professional development.
Education about "Value-Based" Reimbursement: Ongoing opportunities to learn about the impact of value-based reimbursement and how those changes will affect mental health practice.
Tier 3 Healthy Contracts Advocate Membership Application
Membership Fee: $0
Healthy Contracts Advocate status is a non-marketing IMHPA membership available to licensed and pre-licensed mental health clinicians who want to receive ongoing information about significant changes in reimbursement models and about IMHPA & MRI education resources and support. This participation status offer ends 3/31/25.
