Focus & Benefits:
Clinical, Ethical, and Legal Advocacy: Healthy Contracts Advocates are recruited to support their education concerning the State’s coming transition to value-based reimbursement models. Advocates, like IMHPA marketing and contracting members, support the moral requirement that mental health practices adhere to ethical and lawful standards.
Access to IMHPA Listserv: Healthy Contracts Advocates may engage in discussions with IMHPA colleagues to share knowledge, resources, and best practices. Advocates will receive routine reports of IMHPA & MRI training and activities, and opportunities to stay up-to-date on practice, legislative and contracting issues.
Support for Consultation Group Formation: Advocates are offered assistance in creating or joining peer consultation groups to enhance professional development.
Education about "Value-Based" Reimbursement: Ongoing opportunities to learn about the State of Oregon’s stumbling motions toward value-based reimbursements and how such change will impact mental and behavioral health practices.
